it’s a work still in progres… i’ll probably get some shading or clouds to make it all whole, haven’t decided yet, may just keep as is… but anyway, there is a lot to this whole sleeve… Corey didn’t play the piano or anything, but i absolutely LOVE the piano, and when i saw this tat on here (tumblr) i knew immediately that’s what i wanted.
it’s hard to explain it…. but i need to figure it out as everyone will be asking… pretty much, the portrait of Corey is obviously so i can have him with me everywhere, his death has been the hardest thing in my life, and i’m sure the hardest i will ever deal with, losing ur best friend/love to suicide is very hard to understand/bear/deal/live with. so i pretty much got the piano with the birds coming out to symbolize that he is free now. i hope that it kind of helps me cope with it all. there’s a dandelion with a few petals still on the flower because he isn’t completely gone, he is still my (our) angel. but there are more petals blowing away in the air turning into birds which goes back into he is free. some days i imagine that he is a bird flying around, or in the clouds bouncing around (that’s how i imagine being an angel) - watching over us.
